Giving to the church
A message from our treasurer, Malcolm Fenn:
Are you a tax payer?
If you are, and do not currently give via the Parish Giving Scheme on a monthly basis by direct debit, you could join the 28 of St Mary’s congregation who do.
It is simple to join:
Ring 03330 021260
Quote our parish-Capel St Mary
Code 330633104
Give your bank details and the amount you wish to give and they will sort everything out.
From the churches viewpoint we receive the tax relief on a monthly basis.

As a charity whose origins are within the church, we understand that, for every giver, generosity is an act of Christian faith that is deeply personal.
By processing gifts and Gift Aid on the church’s behalf, we can ease the admin burden and paperwork for church volunteers.
It is easy for treasurers to view the monthly statement for their church securely online, staying closely informed and hassle-free.
If you are not a tax payer
Please continue to put your offering in the baskets during the service.

Bequests in your Will
St Mary’s Church has been very fortunate to receive two large bequests in recent the late Dr Mike Bush which helped repair the church roof..
My wife and I have left money from our estate to the church and I would urge you to do the same. As the money is going to a charity it drops out of your estate. Contact your legal adviser for details.
May I, on behalf of Rev Sally and the PCC, thank you for your generous financial support. Malcolm Fenn
